The Lakes Region Veterans Coalition and Camp Resilience are partnering with the Powerhouse Theatre Collaborative to offer dinner followed by seeing Captains Courageous - The Musical at the Colonial Theater in Laconia, NH. This is offered at no cost to any interested veteran!
Captains Courageous is an exciting musical based on the Rudyard Kipling novel and MGM classic movie starring Spencer Tracy. It is a classic coming-of-age story set in the forgotten world of the great New England sailing ships. The score is filled with rousing songs of the sea and adventure.
Dinner will start at 5:30PM on Friday, October 20th at VFW Post 1670 at 143 Court Street in Laconia. After dinner, we will transport the attendees via van to and from the Colonial Theater, also in Laconia, for the show.
Again, this event is free for any interested veteran!
