Description: Spend a weekend engaging in equine-assisted learning activities and building relationships with horses. This is not a horseback riding program. The program is intended to create growth opportunities through experiential learning, developing communication skills and promoting healing by fostering relationships with animals. To highlight the experience, ‘fireside rap sessions’ offer facilitated peer to peer support and promote community among participants. Camp Resilience Programs are designed to bolster Veteran resiliency. Retreats include food, lodging and activities, and are free to all participants.
